The mamivac^® 2-phase technology allows for expressing breast milk as gently and naturally as possible. The continuously adjustable phases consist of a stimulation phase and a pumping phase. However, the pumping process does not follow an automatic program, but can be adjusted at any time. This makes it possible to tailor the suction strength and interval speed to the individual needs of the mother and the strength of the milk flow.

Stimulation phase: Mimics the initial fast, gentle sucking of the baby, gently massages the breast, and stimulates milk flow. A high interval speed (number of cycles) quickly triggers the milk ejection reflex without pain.

Pumping phase: Simulates the slower, more intense sucking of the baby. This effectively collects the valuable breast milk. The interval speed can be continuously adjusted depending on the milk flow and the mother's comfort. In combination with the ability to variably and continuously regulate the suction strength or vacuum strength, this results in the best pumping comfort for the mother with maximum effectiveness.

Simultaneously expressing breast milk from both breasts saves approximately 50% of the time. This gives mothers more time — not just in the case of multiple births. The patented valve technology ensures double pumping without any loss of suction power. All our electric breast pumps feature direct connections for two suction kits each.
