BPA-free

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a component found in many high-quality plastics. Under certain conditions (e.g., heating in the microwave), this chemical can be released. If Bisphenol A is absorbed by the human body, it can potentially have an estrogen-like effect, interfering with the complex hormonal processes in the human organism.

Baby bottles made with the chemical Bisphenol A have been banned from sale since June 2011. Therefore, we at Kimetec GmbH have long since switched our product range to BPA-free options.

The correct breast shield size

To express breast milk gently and efficiently, a vacuum must form in the breast shield. Therefore, having the correct fit of the breast shield is essential.

mamivac® breast shields are available in three different sizes: S (20 mm), L (28 mm), and XL (36 mm). It’s important to ensure the correct size is chosen and the breast shield fits properly.

To determine the right size, the mamivac® Mamillometer can be downloaded. When printing, make sure to keep the original size and avoid adjusting it to fit the page.
