Our electric breast pump mamivac® LACTIVE is a true all-rounder. It helps with occasional pumping as well as regular use. Especially for medical reasons (e. g. mastitis, sore nipples, milk stasis, or insufficient milk production), our electric breast pump has proven its worth. Thanks to its compact design, you remain mobile at all times. Despite its size, the LACTIVE is just as powerful as a hospital-grade pump.
To express breast milk gently and efficiently, a vacuum must form in the breast shield. Therefore, having the correct fit of the breast shield is essential.
For our mamivac® LACTIVE, suction kits are available in three different sizes: S (20 mm), L (28 mm), and XL (36 mm). It’s important to ensure the correct size is chosen and the breast shield fits properly.
To determine the right size, the mamivac® Mamillometer can be downloaded. When printing, make sure to keep the original size and avoid adjusting it to fit the page.

mamivac® 2-Phase Technology
The mamivac® 2-phase technology enables the pumping of breast milk to be as gentle and natural as possible. The continuously adjustable phases consist of a stimulation phase and a pumping phase. However, the pumping process does not follow an automatic program but can be adjusted at any time. This allows the suction strength and interval speed to be tailored to the individual needs of the mother and the strength of the milk flow.
Stimulation Phase: Mimics the fast, weak sucking of the baby at the beginning, gently massages the breast, and stimulates milk flow. A high interval speed (number of cycles) triggers the milk ejection reflex painlessly in the shortest possible time.
Pumping Phase: Simulates the slower, more intense sucking of the baby. This effectively extracts the valuable breast milk. The interval speed can be continuously adjusted depending on the milk flow and the mother's comfort. Combined with the ability to continuously and variably regulate the suction strength, this results in optimal pumping comfort for the mother with maximum effectiveness.
Double Pumping
Simultaneously pumping breast milk from both breasts saves about 50% of the time. This allows mothers more time—not only in cases of multiple births. The patented valve technology ensures double pumping without loss of suction power. All our electric breast pumps have direct connections for two suction kits.
